Terms of use

What this page is

This is a plain-language summary of the terms for using Veridress while the product is in development. It is meant to be readable and is not a substitute for a full agreement, which will be published before general availability. Questions can go to hello@veridress.com.

The service

Veridress helps event organizers verify attendee attire against rules they define. Organizers create events, set dress-code rules, send attendees private upload links, and review the resulting decisions.

The service is offered as-is during development. Features and availability may change, and we do not promise uninterrupted operation.

Organizer responsibilities

You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect attendee information and outfit photos, and for telling your attendees how their photos will be used.

You agree not to use Veridress to collect images of people without their knowledge, to profile individuals, or for any unlawful purpose.

You are responsible for the dress-code rules you set and for the final decisions your reviewers make.

Attendee uploads

Attendees upload photos only of their own intended outfit through the link an organizer sends them.

Do not upload content that is unlawful, that depicts someone without their consent, or that you do not have the right to share.

AI decisions are assistive

Automated evaluations are a tool to help organizers, not an authoritative judgment. A human reviewer can override any outcome.

Veridress is not liable for decisions an organizer or reviewer makes using the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product develops; material changes will be reflected on this page.
